It’s Making My Head Hurt

Okay…. So I normally don’t get into “he said, she said” fights over the interwebs. Let alone celebrity gossip/drama… But I happen to come across a little quote from Amanda Bynes off her twitter account, “Amanda Bynes ‏@AmandaBynes “The only thing that’s certain is change.”" Nice little quote there I thought, nothing out of line. Then I scrolled down and saw these two comments:

The thing that got me was the “#stopbullying” haha… Really? So I looked up her profile and found this:

“I am a women of god. It is a sin to hate. I hate hyprocrites. Always treat people with respect and kindness. Remember. Bullying is for losers. ❤”

Really? There is a rule that Jesus was trying to teach his people, The golden rule:” Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” or to break it down if you don’t understand. The biblical teaching that one should behave toward others as one would have others behave toward oneself. I myself don’t follow any religion really, I have read the bible and followed other teachings. But I find the golden rule to be the most straight forward and truthful.

But any ways… Sorry I had to write something about this.. I don’t know why, it just really bugged me for some odd reason haha.

Lucasfilm Kills 3D Star Wars Re-Releases After Realizing It’s Horrible and Everyone Hates It

What’s worse than the Star Wars prequels? The Star Wars prequels ramrodded in your face with an extra dimension. Lucasfilm was planning on subjecting idiots with loose wallets to re-released 3D Young Anakin, but Disney says no more bullshit.

Deadline reports that Lucasfilm will pass on distributing the other five Star Wars flicks after The Phantom Menace completely bombed in 3D, to the surprise of no one except perhaps George Lucas and the Nazi scientist who invented 3D movies. Instead, Disney wants complete focus on the J.J. Abrams reboot—an absolutely smart move, even if those new sequels will themselves probably be filmed in 3D. If there’s going to be 3D crap, let there be the smallest about of 3D crap possible.

But when was the last time we heard of Lucasfilm doing something non-grotesque? When was the last time anyone even associated with Star Wars owned up to failure? I can’t remember. Maybe Disney will take the time to realize how much of a dumb-assed fad 3D cinema is by 2015—or maybe by then it’ll be too obvious to ignore. I don’t want to watch the most important three moments of my adult life with glasses on.

Westboro Baptist Church petition now has over 250,000 signatures.. Only 250,000? You would think more people would sign

Nearly 250,000 people have signed a White House petition that would label Westboro Baptist Church as a hate group.

The petition was created at petitions.whitehouse.gov after Westboro Baptist Church members announced plans to picket a vigil for children killed in the Newtown, Connecticut school shooting.

The petition, which was created on December 14, has received over 250,000 signatures, making it the largest online White House petition in history.

As of 12:15 a.m. on Thursday, the petition had 259,000 signatures.

Online petitions at whitehouse.gov need 25,000 signatures before they are reviewed by the administration.

From the petition:

“This group has been recognized as a hate group by organizations, such as The Southern Poverty Law Center, and has repeatedly displayed the actions typical of hate groups.

Their actions have been directed at many groups, including homosexuals, military, Jewish people and even other Christians. They pose a threat to the welfare and treatment of others and will not improve without some form of imposed regulation.”
