It’s funny the amount of nerd rage on what’s going on about Thor becoming a woman.

Or should say a woman taking Thor’s place.

It’s really a 50/50 shot a lot of people fallen in love with the idea and a lot of people are against it. I’m rather surprised at huge overwhelming amounts of people just being sexist. Like I said before on one of my other post that I’m all for the idea, it’s actually cool and very happy about it. Because my daughter is extremely excited about it. My only gripe is they need to come up with new characters… Why keep dig into the old ones, trying to reboot them.

Marvel did a interview with a Time Magazine recently with Thor’s editor and editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics.
Time magazine asked why they would makes Thor a woman rather than just creating all the character.?? Marvels response was rather interesting, they said:

“We can’t give away all the story details now obviously, but once the story is out there, it becomes clear why there’s a new female Thor. It’s not about filling a certain quota. It’s about providing a shot in the arm to the Thor titles definitely, but it’s something that’s a natural part of where this story and the Thor title is going”

Now Thor has been a different style of characters at many of points through our his history. He has been a frog, he has also been a horse faced alien.

Just to name a few… Now with Marvel making Thor into a woman has caused this overabundance of bickering back and forth between comic world.
I’ll post a link to the actual interview down below so you can read it for yourself.
As time goes on and the more I think about it.. I’m all for it. Showing my little girl the pictures of the new Thor is gonna look like and how she’s going to be. She literally looked at me and asked, “really?”
“Yes.” I said.  She literally jumped up and said, “yes!” with a fist pump. Then she asked if she was going to be made it into a movie. I told her baby steps, let the character get a established first then we’ll see. 🙂
