An Armenian girl named Vika Oganesyan audition on the Voice with the fuCK DIVA DANCE SONG FROM THE FIFTH ELEMENT AND IT IS AMAZING.

For people who haven’t watched The Fifth Element, this song was literally composed to be something impossible for humans to sing (it was sung by a non-human in the film.)

The aria performed in the first part here is ”Oh, giusto cielo!…Il dolce suono“ (the "mad scene”) from Gaetano Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor.  It is one of the most difficult arias to perform, because of its length, its soaring arpeggios, and the high F above high C notes.

The woman seen portraying Diva Plavalaguna is French actress Maïwenn (Maïwenn Le Besco), but the voice we hear is not hers, it’s Albanian soprano Inva Mula (credited as Inva Mulla Tchako).  The other part of the song, the “Diva Dance,” caused Mula to smile when she saw the sheet music… because she knew — well, assumed — it was physiologically impossible for a
human to sing that song, because the human voice can’t change notes that
fast.  So she performed the notes in isolation –
one by one, as opposed to consecutively singing them all together – and
they digitized the notes to fit the music.

But it looks like Oganesyan proved Mula wrong!
