So a few days ago, I was roaming around Twitter as you do and saw a post from James Marsters say that he was dropped random from Wizard World Portland. With no reason as to why, he went on to inform everyone that was coming to this comic con. I might note that this Wizard World is vary heavy on the Buffy theme with Alyson Hannigan, Alexis Denisof, Juliet Landau, Julie Benz, Amber Benson, Clare Kramer, and Charisma Carpenter.
With an out cry from his fans trying to figure out as to why he was removed from the line up. I personally went and asked my PR that I go through for my press pass and asked him. He didn’t have any idea as to why he was dropped as well. So after a few conversations back and forth, later on that day James updated he Twitter stating:

@WizardWorld ‘s management have mutually worked things out. I’m so happy to announce that I will still be attending Wizard World Portland! I’m very excited for this Buffy extravaganza and seeing you there!
