31 Days of Horror: The Babysitter Official Trailer #1 (2017)

The Babysitter is a 2017 American teen horror-comedy film directed by McG and written by Brian Duffield. The film stars Samara Weaving, Judah Lewis, Robbie Amell and Bella Thorne. It was released by Netflix on October 13, 2017.

Twelve-year-old Cole Johnson is a naïve kid who tries to fit in with everyone else. When he is bullied by his neighbor Jeremy, his babysitter Bee stands up for him and draws them away from him. The following day, when his parents go out for an overnight stay at a hotel, Bee and Cole spend quality time together until after 10.00pm. About 30 minutes or so later, Cole is encouraged by a text from his best friend Melanie to go see what Bee gets up to after he goes to sleep. To his surprise, he sees what looks like Bee and several friends – Max, John, Allison, Sonya, and Samuel – having a harmless game of Spin the Bottle. However, as Bee kisses Samuel, she pulls two daggers from behind like back and stabs him in the skull.

I just finished watching this movie… Like just now… Oh my God it was a lot fun! Just good or fashion what the hell was that?… This is what I like to call a popcorn movie, no brains require. Just sit back and forget your problems for and hour or two. I found myself doing a double feature tonight, one being American Werewolf in London. Followed up randomly with The Babysitter, and it did not disappoint! The movie is a well balance of Horror and comedy, with just the right amount of gore.

If you haven’t watched it yet, do so now! It fits perfectly into any spooky movie marathon this month.
