GeekFuel Unboxing & More

SO! We have September’s GeekFuel box and it did not let me down. Filled with random little goodies from ever fandom. I have to say I like their booklet a lot better than Loot Crates, I don’t know why. I think it’s just has more personal touch rather than trying to sell you again on a crate you just bought. Anywho! We have a super soft shell from Mario Brothers, it’s a tiny pillow thingy and works great on my couch.

Also in memory of Adam West they have a Classic Batman t-shirt which fit perfectly and the print was amazing. This month’s free game was Warden: Melody of the Undergrowth on STEAM. Warden:

Trapped in an ancient forest, a young prince searches for a lost god. Here he befriends the spirit of a young girl and a volatile child, and they quickly find their destinies intertwined. Third-person action-adventure inspired by genre classics of the N64-era.

Not a bad little game and the kids love it. I haven’t played it that much do to Destiny taken up much of my time. They also put a random Mega Construx this month. I got Ripley from Aliens and I had a lot of fun putting it together. Then they their monthly pin, which was Epic Enamels Cartoon Edition. I got Dexter from Dexter’s Laboratory.

Also later on that day while wait for my oldest to get out of Ballet. There is the Lego Shop down the street which is rather dangers for someone like me. But come to find out!! There was SO MUCH MORE than just Legos, it had Star Wars, Harry Potter, Steampunk. A lot of local artists and fellow nerds making things for them. Then I saw their wand section and had to get Snape’s wand. A small birthday gift to myself 🙂

LOOTCRATE!!! TIME!!! *Spoilers*

So after taken a few months away from any form of Loot (plus I got burned out on all the shipping issues I was having with a certain company). I went out and got this months LootCrate! This month was Robotic theme and it was amazing :). We have Aliens, Star Wars, Star Trek (I know!! I the same box!!), Blade Runner!! Now that is just the core crate, the DX has far more Loot inside.

Also with the Loot pin I got 3 free digital issues to Servo Magazine, as well as a free Ghost in the Shell comic. Star Trek was also a Loot Crate exclusive comic titled Mirror Broken: Origin of Data. Read and wrote a little something about it and as always the link is at the end of this post.. The Ghost in the Shell comic was interesting… I was worried at first because the cover looked like some 10 years old did it was a MS Paint. But to my surprise the art was great and story plot followed the TV show.

Queen take Bishop :(!! Love this little figure from Aliens, sadly it’s the beginning of the slow death of one of my favorite characters. Still a great collectible, a bitch to put together tho. Not everything was cut right. Blade Runner was a t-shirt with the Wallace company logo on it!! Beyond happy with this one, the only problem I had was the print was stuck together and messed up the logo a little bit. But not to bad, it kinda gave it a vintage look anyways. UPSIDE!! The Loot box makes me laugh. Every LootCrate box can be turn into something else and/or re gifted to someone else. This month was a mock cereal box hahaha, called “Cog Crispies, For Silicon-Based Constructs”. Now for Star Wars!! We have a build your own R2-D2 figure that is made out of wood. I’ll have to post some pictures of R2 once I’m done building it. So that is this months crate!! Hope you enjoyed the spoilers!!LINKS:
