Serve with shredded cheese and grill cheese sandwiches!

Lately we have been doing this in the crockpot and found that the flavor is better. We cook the meat, onion and spice mixture in a skillet. Pour all of the other ingredients into the crock pot while that is cooking. Then we add the meat mixture to the crockpot. We turn it on at about 11am and let it cook until we get home from work which is around 6:30pm or so. We have also prepped it the night before and put it in the fridge and then turned it on the next day so that there was no prep to do in the morning.

You can use whatever beans you like and add as much spice as you like.

Hope you enjoy!

My family loves these and they are easy to make and get in the over before I have to leave for work. I usually double the recipe and use a 9X13 pan so I have enough for my family at home and to give away. Let me know how you like them.
